COVID-19/CORONAVIRUS BUSINESS CONTINUITY AND SAFETY PLAN
PoolZenia and our team have been and will continue to follow the development of the COVID-19 health concern. Our team is also keeping up with, and implementing recommendations of the Public Health Agency of Canada and the World Health Organization. We will continue monitoring and implementing evolving recommendations until the situation subsides. We intend to proceed with providing our services this year, with the following considerations in mind.
FROM THE CANADIAN POOL AND HOT TUB COUNCIL OF CANADA:
“Can the COVID-19 virus spread through pools and hot tubs?"
There is no evidence that COVID-19 can be spread to humans through the use of pools and hot tubs. Proper operation, maintenance, and disinfection(eg. with chlorine or bromine) of pools and hot tubs should remove or inactivate the virus that causes COVID-19.
Pool Service Technicians are defenders of public health; performing essential maintenance to open bodies of water, and prevent stagnant water to reduce the transmission of dangerous and deadly diseases through pests like mosquitos.
We strive in these tough and unpredictable times to create confidence in our relationships with all our customers that we can continue to provide our essential services in a safe and health-conscious manner. With a focus on the health and well-being of our employees, customers and suppliers we will be continuing to provide our maintenance repair services. We have put the following proactive measures in place to help protect the health and well-being of all of our customers, employees and suppliers.
PROACTIVE MEASURES AND POLICIES
The following measures will be put in place until further notice, in an attempt to safely provide services to all of our clients. We have made every effort to offer convenient solutions because we value your time. However, our responsibility is to prioritize the safety of our clients, their families, and bathers.
NO PERSONAL CONTACT
-We will respect social distancing keeping a distance of 2 meters.
-All staff will wear masks in all service appointments.
-All staff, customers and suppliers are expected to immediately report to us any symptoms that may relate to COVID-19 if they are subject to any quarantine if they have had contact with our organization in any way over the past 14 days.
FLEXIBLE BOOKING, INVOICE AND PAYMENT OPTIONS
-Booking individual service or Water Care visits can be requested in the meantime by calling

-Hot tub chemicals will soon be available for purchase online with contactless delivery.
-Estimate appointments may still be conducted in person (respecting distancing) however, product catalogues and paperwork will not be provided. Online options are available for most of our products and can be shared with you via email at the time of booking your appointment or after the initial visit.
-All Estimates will be sent via email.
-Estimates and Contracts may be sent back signed via email once approved.
-Invoices will be provided via email. Special exceptions may be made for those without access to email.
-CASH payments will not be accepted. Available payment options include check, bank draft, email transfer or credit card.
As always, the health and safety of our team and our clients are our top priority. We will continue to monitor the evolving situation and will update you on any further recommendations or operational changes that we are required to make.
